Max is a very sweet senior Tuxedo Maine Coon mix cat for adoption in Brookhaven GA – near Atlanta. This 12 year old boy is fixed and up to date on shots. He will be rehomed with all supplies and vet records, and is looking for a quiet home where he can be adored as the center of attention Max is a great companion and not at all aloof.
He’s that rare breed of cat that loves to be talked to, sung to, and will always be close by if you need somebody to share with.

Max’s current owner has been told that her own serious health issues are made worse with spending so much time with a longish-coated cat. She has severe cat allergies and immune problems that just are getting too much to handle. She’s willing to take her doctor’s advice and find Max a better home.
Max has had a few minor health issues himself being a little large, so living with somebody who can spend more time with him and keep him active should help improve Max’s quality of life. In the past Max has required a special diet due to weight gain and some temporary bladder infections. With the right home and a good vet, Max should be purring away for many more years. Can you or somebody that you know offer Max the happy future that he needs?

Max Tuxedo Maine Coon Cat For Adoption Brookhaven GA 5

Meet Max, Maine Coon/Tuxedo Cat For Adoption in Brookhaven GA
Max is a Male Maine Coon/Tuxedo Cat for adoption to a very loving home in or near Brookhaven, GA. This very special Cat is 12 years old and weighs 18 pounds.

Max is being placed for adoption by owner because of the owner’s health issues.
She’s dealt with extensive health and autoimmune issues for the past 12 years, and has had increasingly worsening symptoms that have affected her ability to work over the past year or two – In June, she was advised by her doctor that many of these issues are due to being EXTREMELY allergic to cats (as in, literally-off-the-charts allergic) and that finding Max a good home should help with these significant health concerns.

As she says: “I’m more concerned with finding him the RIGHT home than I am about my health (obviously), but I really can’t keep dealing with these health issues for much longer and am hoping I can find something within the month. Beyond that – mid-December is my “hard” deadline, as I’ll be travelling extensively over the holidays and really don’t feel comfortable putting him in a kennel or something (in addition to the fact that that is going to be a tough month for me financially)”.
