Q: How Many People Will See my Ads on Pluba?
A: Placing your ad on Pluba is like placing your ad on hundreds of popular websites because Pluba ads are syndicated and distributed to hundreds of national and local websites across the country, including many regional newspaper websites. Your ads will be seen by many hundreds to thousands of people everywhere. Q: Where did Pluba Originate?
A: Pluba is a division of BBCI, Inc. a California Corporation founded in 2001. In order to service the needs of our pet only interested community, Pluba was created in October 2006. We love our job here, and we hope you enjoy Pluba as much as we do.
Q: What does Pluba Mean? In Other Words, Does it Stand for Anything?
A: We don't think the word Pluba means anything in the English language. We chose the name because it's short and easy to remember. For all we know, it could be a Portugese word meaning 'the third nipple on a hungarian tree frog'. If you happen to find out what Pluba means, please let us know.
Q: Who is the 'Mod', and Why is he Such a Curmudgeon?
A: The 'Mod' is the website manager. His main role is to keep the technology running smoothly. Generally, he has a pleasant disposition, but if he gets unhappy he is known to fling his water bottle at people without warning.
Pricing and Ad Duration
Q: How Long Do Ads Run For and Do I Have to Pay?
A: There may be a nominal fee depending on whether you desire a Pluba Subscription, or to run ads Ala Carte. The small fee helps us continue to drive quality visitors to Pluba, and also helps in keeping out many of the web scammers and low quality advertisers which often frequent the free sites. We are building a better place.

Q: Do you accept PayPay? What else do you accept?
A: Pluba no longer accepts PayPal however we do accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, and occasionally Puka shells.
Q: Is it safe to use my credit card on Pluba? Is it Secure?
A: Yes- Definately. Pluba uses Authorize.Net as its secure payment gateway, one of the nations largest credit card gateway.
Advertising Refund/Cancellation Policy
Q: Can I get a refund or cancel my ad?
A: Unless we post your advertisement in error or fail to post your ad on our website during the timeframe in which you had paid for, all payments for advertisements and subscriptions are final and can not be refunded. Of course, if you have a really good argument that makes sense to us, we will reconsider to keep the peace.
Creating Email Alerts
Q: What is an email alert and how do I create them?
A: Simple. First make sure you are a member of Pluba by registering. Next, in the My Account area, you can set email alerts, which will be sent to you based on specific types of ads that you want to see.
You can always change your settings for alerts, or stop them completely at any time.

Q: How much does it cost to register at Pluba?
A: Nothing. Registration is FREE.
Q: Do I have to register to use Pluba?
A: No. You can browse and search ads without registering. You should still register, to save time, as the site will remember various preferences for you. If you want to create ads, you will need to register. Registration is FREE.
Creating and Managing Your Pluba Ads
Q: Do I Have to Register to Create Ads?
A: Yes. You must be a registered user to create ads. Registration is free.
Q: I created an ad, but it does not show up in search results. Why?
A: You need to run your ad. Go to My Account and click on Run ad to the left of the ad you wish to run. If its a paid ad, the system will ask for your credit card information, and your ad will run as soon as your payment is processed.
Q: How do I stop my ad from running?
A: From the My Account page, click on the Stop link to the left of the ad.
Q: What Category Should I Put My Ad In?
A: If you don't see a category listed, choose 'other' or 'misc' and email our support staff to advise them to create a category.
Q: What region should I put my ad in?
A: The region you live in. By default the region will be the region you specified on your profile when you registered, but you can change this at any time.
Q: Will my ad be visible in other regions?
A: Yes. All ads are visible in any region. The system will, however, always show a person ads in their region first, then ads from outside their region.
Privacy
Q: I don't want my name, phone number or email address to appear on your site. What should I do?
A: You can have all your personal information remain private. Update your personal privacy preferences from the My Account page.
Q: If all my information is private how can a buyer contact me?
A: When your ad appears, instead of showing your contact information the following appears: "This seller has chosen to remain private. You may contact this seller via anonymous email by clicking here." The prospective buyer completes an on-line form and the system sends you an email without revealing your information to the prospective buyer.

Q: How Do Regions Work?
A: Pluba.com covers the U.S. All states and any city with a population of 100,000 or more is listed as a region. When you register or create ads, you select a region. When you browse ads, ads in your region will be shown first. When you search for ads, ads in your region will be shown first.
Q: I don't see my city listed. What region should I choose?
A: Choose the city closest to you or the state you live in.
